Colby Toensing, Owner & Lead Carpenter

Colby Toensing founded Toensing Construction on a simple belief: a remodel should feel as good to live through as the finished work looks. As owner and lead carpenter, he personally leads each project from the first walkthrough to the final detail, bringing a carpenter's eye to every cut, joint, and finish.

Based in Warren, Rhode Island, Colby works directly with homeowners across the East Bay and beyond. When you hire Toensing Construction, you are working with the person doing the work, not just managing it, and that is what keeps both the craftsmanship and the communication personal.

Toensing Construction was founded by Colby Toensing and is based in Warren, Rhode Island. We work with homeowners throughout the East Bay and across the state, taking on remodeling and carpentry projects that require both skill and care to do right.

Our work spans a wide range: historic home restoration, kitchen and bathroom remodels, ADU construction, custom built-ins and millwork, decks and porches, and more.
