Position Overview

We are hiring carpenters to support residential construction and remodeling projects in Rhode Island. This role is best suited for someone who is hands on, dependable, and confident working on a variety of carpentry tasks with care and precision.

Depending on experience, responsibilities may include framing, finish carpentry, exterior carpentry, demolition, remodeling support, deck and porch work, siding or trim related tasks, installation work, punch list items, material handling, and jobsite setup and organization.

This is an on site role. Candidates should be comfortable working on active residential jobsites, following direction when needed, working independently when appropriate, and maintaining a professional attitude around clients and trade partners.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for carpenters who take pride in their work and understand that quality matters. The right candidate is dependable, communicates well, stays organized, and wants to contribute to well executed projects.

Ideal candidates have experience with:

• residential carpentry

• remodeling and renovation work

• framing and structural carpentry

• finish carpentry and detail work

• decks, porches, stairs, and exterior projects

• reading plans or following clear scopes of work

• maintaining a clean and safe jobsite

• working efficiently without sacrificing quality

You do not need to be perfect at every part of the trade, but you do need to be motivated, responsible, and serious about doing good work.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include:

• performing general carpentry and remodeling tasks on residential projects

• assisting with framing, trim, finish work, and exterior carpentry

• helping build and repair decks, porches, stairs, and related structures

• completing demolition, prep work, installation work, and punch list items

• keeping the jobsite clean, organized, and professional

• handling materials, tools, and equipment carefully and efficiently

• communicating clearly about progress, issues, and next steps

• working with respect for the client’s home and property

• maintaining a safe working environment

• contributing to projects that reflect high standards of craftsmanship

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• carpentry or remodeling experience in residential construction

• ability to use standard tools and equipment safely and effectively

• solid problem solving skills and attention to detail

• reliability, punctuality, and professionalism

• ability to take direction and work as part of a team

• ability to work independently when needed

• valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• ability to perform physical work on active jobsites

Experience levels may vary. We are open to hearing from both experienced carpenters and motivated individuals with solid hands on experience who are ready to grow.
